Announcements for the Course of Study School Summer 2008

  • Papers currently outstanding must be postmarked by September 2 (since September 1 is a holiday) or the student's class grade will revert to an F.

  • We are currently working on housing letters for those who have requested housing. Bills will follow shortly. We are working in a new system - we ask your patience as we enter and mail information.
  • Conference support for most students as is follows:
    BW - $200 per 2 weeks
    CPA - 50% dble room, board and fee
    EPA - no support - student to pay whole bill and request reimbursement
    GNJ - 50% dble room and board
    New England - $250 per 2 weeks
    NY - 50% dble room and board
    NCNY - 75 % dble room and board
    Pen-Del - $300 per 2 weeks if approved by BOOM
    Troy - $500 for 2 weeks; $900 for 4 weeks
    VA - $420 for 2 weeks; $850 for 4 weeks
    WNY - 50% dble room and board
    Wyoming - no support - student pays whole bill and requests reimbursement
  • YES!! There is air conditioning in Straughn Hall AND it seems to be keeping up with the high temperatures this week.
  • Stay cool and arrive safe!

  • Registration deadline is May 1, 2008 for returning students and June 1 for new students just out of licensing school.
  • If you have problems downloading the study guides, please call me at 202-885-8688
  • Housing rates have been posted.  Please use these in figuring your costs for next summer.
  • We will use the housing facilities at American Universaity again this year.  There is also a good chance that some work will be done in Straughn Hall before you arrive to make things a little move comfortable this summer.  Stay tuned for undates.

  • Discrepency found in study guide for CS312 - The McGrath book should read the 3rd edition.  It has been in print since 1999 however, the study guide was not changed.  Cokesbury will send you the 3rd edition.
