Equipping Lay Ministry

ELM LogoThe Equipping Lay Ministry curriculum provides an opportunity for people to discover and enhance their call to Christian service. Wesley Theological Seminary acknowledges the vitality of lay people, who have an increasing role in the mission and ministry of the church. We believe that the church is at its best when it has lay leadership that is enthusiastic, spiritually-centered, informed, and biblically and theologically well-grounded. Together, the laity and clergy can fulfill the church's mission to transform lives, bring about justice, and work for the realization of God.
