Mary Moschella is a member of the Bethesda United Church of Christ and has been in full pastoral standing in the UCC since 1984. She pastored in UCC churches in Massachusetts for 13 years prior to answering the call to teach and to write. She also studied and practiced clinical pastoral counseling at the Christian Counseling Service in Redlands, California, from 1998-2000, before coming to Wesley in 2001. An interest in American social history undergirds her approach to pastoral theology and care. Her current projects include:
- “Living Devotions: Reflections on Immigration, Identity, and Religious Imagination”
- A textbook on ethnography as a pastoral theological strategy for transformation in congregations and communities.
